Task 6 3D materials Samples Paper Macthe Mod Rock and Wire

This First example is of my paper matche design using cardboard and newspaper to make my final mini beast i used newspaper for most of it then cardboard for the body and the head to make it more stable and so it will not fall off at any point.  

This is now my wire example of my mini beast this was the first example of what i was making as you can see i have made the body and then stated to make the loops over the body also i twisted the wires round to make it more stable so it will not collapse.  

This is my second wire image this is now improved as you can see i have developed more of the body and also i have put silver wire on there to make it more stable towards the wire.  

This is another photo of me developing more of my wire work and i have develop more of the body and also more silver wire to make it fit together.   

This is now my final part of my wire work this time i have develop the legs this time using more wire and again twisting the wire to make the legs more stable and not move quickly this has been devloped more which i think is really good.   

Here is just another example of my wire work of my final wire mini beast which i think i have done well on it and something that i have developed more into. 

As you can see here i have improved my wire work by adding more copper to strengthen the legs so they are not loose and they will stand up right and not fall out.

This is another phot of my wire work this is now taken from the side so i can show the whole side of the body and to not let it fall over. 

This is just another angle that i have took as you can see this is more of a close up this time to the other two photographs. 

This is my final photograph so as you can see this is from the top view this time looking down so you can see the body.  

This Photograph is of my Mod rock 3d design for my mini beast i used mod rock to create the body for my mini beast as you can see i developed some more of the body using a toothpick.  

This is another one of my photographs that i took this time my mini beast has been developed more as you can see i have now created a head for my body using the same method.  

This is another one of my photographs that i took of my mod rock mini beast as you can see to make the head more stable and not fall off i put a toothpick in between the body and the head to secure it so it will not break or fall off. 

This is a photograph of my final mod rock design as you can see i have now developed the legs and also to hold the legs together i have used wire to hold them together but also it helps because then the legs will not break and fall off.   

This is the same photgraph except i have put newspaper underneath my  mini beast so it will dry and hold up aswell and also not break.

Task 4 Final A3 coulour mixed media illustration

This is my Final A3 illustration media of my mini beast as you can see i traced the bug that i drew and then clolourd  it with watercolor also i used the same method for the background which i think is really good for me to work on. The paintbrush that is used was just a small paintbrush so it whouild not smudge the watercolor and also to make sure it whouild not spread all over the sides. I also used oil pastel for parts of the legs and also the body part as well so as you can see the whole body is not just green it is also white as well because the oil pastel makes the watercolor miss those sections. I used the gold colour for the background because it stands out and also it is a bright colour aswell.     

Task 3 Alternative mixed media samples of mini beasts

This first image is of my mixed media designs use pen and tonal drawings as you cans ee there are different shapes and lines that i had to do for it with things like the figure of 8 style and also the ziz zag lines.  

Here is another piece of my mixed media drawings but this time using shadeing and also using my finger to shade in the white space also using cross hatching aswell to sahde in aswell.   

This is a mixed media image of my mini beast this is just one example of it i chose to do it in pencil and then to color it in black just to see the difference within the mini beast example. 

Here again this is another one of my mixed media examples of mini beasts this time it is the same bug but four different examples each one with a different mixed media on it.  

This is another of my mixed media this type using different markings for example toothpicks and also different kind of shapes aswell these are some ideas that i thought of.  

This was my second idea of my mixed media mini beast this was another example of what i wanted to do for my bug and also what i wanted to draw aswell.  

This is another mixed media image that i did using again pencil and tonal drawings using different lines and shapes.  

These were my two final ideas that i wanted to do using different types of bugs with the body the head and also the antenna. I eventually chose the mini beast on the left which i decided to do for my final A3 colour drawing.

  

Task 2 Alternative desighn ideas

This was the beast that i used for the body which was what i decided to do for my final bug which was the body that i am going to use. 

This drawing is of the head that i am using for my bug i chose this head because i liked the way that it was drawn and also i thought that it whouild stand out aswell towards people. 

  

Task 1 2D Mini Beasts Line and pencil drwaings

This is a picture of one of the mini beasts which i got my idea from this is an example of what i could draw for my mini beast.

This drawing is of another mini beast that i found i did trace it just to make it better for me but i then went over it to make sure that it was visible for me i did use pencil to make it better and look better aswell. 

As you can see here it is the same drawing but this time i have shaded it in just to try different of shade in as you can see it was an example that i wanted to do for my mini beasts design. I though heavily of the different type of design ideas for me.

Here what i have done is i have now chose two different mini beasts that i wanted to do and i chose the one on the left because of the way that the drawing is done as you can see i have but there different type of mini beasts together using the body the head and also the antennas as well. I chose this one becuse i liked the way that it looked and the way it was put together.
